Welcome to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. We are thankful to the Lord that He has brought you here to worship Him with us. If you are interested in becoming a member of our congregation, please contact Pastor Foy and he will be very happy to speak with you about this. There are really three ways that you may become a member of our family and we are hopeful that you already feel welcome. Listed below are the ways we welcome Christians into our congregation.

Baptism
Adults who have not been baptized are invited to go through catechesis (see below) to prepare for baptism. Children of members or regular attenders should be brought to the pastor as soon as possible for baptism. Please see the baptism page for more information.

Catechesis
If you are not a member of another Missouri Synod congregation, we invite you to go through a period of catechesis and discernment. Individuals or families meet together with the pastor to study the Scriptures and Catechism, and have an opportunity to ask any questions.

Transfer
If you are a member of another Missouri Synod congregation and have moved to the Valparaiso, IN area, we will help you transfer your membership to Prince of Peace. Please call the church office (219-613-3496) or email us.
